ACTIVITY 2 : INDOOR ACTIVITY
THEME : CREATIVE AND OUT OF THE BOX SHOW
In our previous class, we have learned about ; CRITICAL THINKING AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS, TEAM WORKING SKILLS and LIFELONG LEARNING SKILLS.
Critical thinking begins when we question beyond what is given and we want to know more about it, and we think out of the box on how to solve it. Then, team work also the important element in out life. Teams are a part of everyone’s life. Lastly, we learned about lifelong learning skills ; learning that is pursued throughout life : learning that is flexible, diverse and available at different times and in different places.
Based on the topic that we have learned, we were assigned to perform two different kind of shows. The theme for our show is creative and out of the box show. The show must have entertainment features and we have try to attract our classmates to participate in the show.

Show 1 – ‘Tarian Zapin’
Description
Zapin (Jawi: زافين) is a Malay dance form that is popular in Malaysia (especially in the state of Johor, Pahang and Selangor), in Indonesia, especially in Malay-populated provinces in Sumatera (Riau Province, Jambi province, Riau Islands Province, North Sumatera, and Bangka-Belitung Islands) and West Kalimantan, and in other Malay populated countries like Brunei Darussalam and Singapore. It is believed to have been introduced by Arab, Muslim missionaries from the Middle East in the fourteenth century.
In the old days, only males were allowed to perform; nowadays, female dancers are included. It used to be performed exclusively for religious ceremonies but through the years it has become a form of traditional entertainment, hence the participation of female dancers is allowed.
For our Zapin show that we performed in our class, it is just the basic Zapin that everyone can follow and dance along with us. It is actually Zapin Melayu that is used as aerobics and everyone have fun did it together.
Show 2 – ‘Tarian Lantai‘
Description
‘Tarian lantai’ is a show that we got inspired from the orientation or sometimes in the camp. This show really have attraction and it captures the audience easily. This show also can be as exercise because we have to move our body from leg to head.

REFLECTION
From this topic and the task that have assigned to us, there are many things that we can learned and reflect from. The first thing is about critical thinking and problem solving skills. This task make us to think out of the box on how our show should be done to attract our classmates. We also learned how to be creative because we have to figure out fun and creative interaction activities that motivates students to carry out activities together with us. Furthermore, this task required our teamwork in making this show possible. We have to discuss it together and practice for our show to make sure our show goes smoothly. Other than that, we have to stay focus on what we do. Focus is important to make us easier to understand something and nothing can distract us. It is like when we practice for our show, we have to stay focused so that we can easily do the step and make the show succeed. Lastly, we learned and understand that practice make perfect. We practiced repeatedly for our performances so that we can remember and perform well in the class.
